Lawn Essentials | Plant Essentials

Our lawn care solution is built around the Thrive Lawn Essentials℠ – seven core applications per year, performed 6-8 weeks apart. These provide the foundation you need for a healthy lawn. If your lawn requires additional applications or advanced treatments, we’ll let you know and perform them as needed.

  1. Pre-emergent and weed control – the first treatment of the year preps your lawn for summer weed control.
  2. Pre-emergent and weed control plus fertilizer – our spring green up application also includes the second pre-emergent treatment.
  3. Fertilizer and weed control – this third application provides summer fertilizer and weed control.
  4. Late summer fertilizer and spot weed control – this fertilizer and spot weed treatment is just what your lawn needs to stay healthy and green in late summer.
  5. Pre-emergent and weed control plus fertilizer – Fall pre-emergent and fall feeding for your lawn and kills off any new weeds, ensuring that the effects of all the previous treatments are maintained.

Note: at this time we will perform your annual soil test to establish how your lawn is utilizing our fertilizers and use this scientific report to correct any deficiencies on your 7th lawn application.

  6. Pre-emergent and weed control  – the second to last application prepares your lawn for the dormant winter stage. Going into winter healthy means coming out green and vibrant next spring.

  7. Soil Conditioning  - This customized application utilizes your soil test and corrects any soil imperfections. This is a very important application as the effects will be realized for the entire coming growing season.
