Lawn Essentials | Plant Essentials

Our plant care is built around the Thrive Plant Essentials℠ – six core applications per year. The applications generally are performed 6-8 weeks apart. However, during the summer months applications may be closer together depending on insect activity.

1. Late winter dormant oil spray – this application is a horticultural oil spray applied to plant material that controls overwintering eggs of plant injuring insects, reducing the insect pressure for the coming season.
2. Early spring fertilizer – our Thrive Plant Essentials℠ spring fertilization is an application of controlled release fertilizer that lasts up to 8 months feeding the tree & shrubs at the proper rate all season long.
3. Late spring Insect & Disease spray – our Insect & Disease control applications are designed to reduce insect and disease pressure in your trees and shrubs. These applications include both contact control and systemic protection for effective results. 
4. Early summer Insect & Disease spray – this application is the same as application #3. 
5. Late summer Insect & Disease spray – this application is the same as application #3.
6. Fall fertilizer – Our Thrive Plant Essentials℠ fall fertilizer is an application of balanced fertilizer that strengthens plants for the winter and coming year.
